$11K in sales in the first month. A shop six months later.

How a solo founder with no systems, selling wheel powder coating through Facebook DMs, found traction fast. And why the most important call we made was to hold back the software we had already built.

Timeline

From first call to a physical shop

  1. Mid-December 2025

First conversations. Yusef walks through his pain points: every lead comes through Facebook DMs, every quote is done by hand, and growth depends on him talking to as many people as he can every day.

  2. January 2026

ABAS is on as consultant and builder. Daily working sessions and new strategies implemented every day.

  3. January 2026

Prototype: a full quote system built by ABAS and put live at abassolutions.net/larri. Customers completed real quotes, but booking alerts were not wired yet. We shelved it to slow down and focus on traction.

  4. Mid-February 2026

Yusef reports $11K in sales and about $8K net profit in the first month of the new strategy.

  5. Summer 2026

About six months in, the business opens a physical shop and becomes Larri Fast Garage.

  6. Now

With the shop running, ABAS relaunches the system at abassolutions.net/larri: quote form and quote chat, owner email alerts, a phone admin, customer order tracking and a dealer portal.

The starting point · December 2025

A real business with no system behind it

Yusef Sadiq ran Larri Powder Coating with his co-founder. The work was good and customers were happy, but everything ran through one person.

  • Every lead came in through Facebook DMs.
  • Every quote was worked out by hand, one conversation at a time.
  • Job details lived in text threads.
  • The growth plan was simple and exhausting: talk to as many people as possible, every day, and hope word of mouth caught on.

No AI. No funnel. No way to tell which effort was paying off.

The diagnosis

The bottleneck was attention and speed to lead

When we mapped how a customer actually found Larri and became a paid job, the problem was not missing quoting software. People were interested. They liked posts, commented and asked questions, and too many of those moments went cold before Yusef could answer.

So the first question was not “what should we build?” It was “what gets more of the right people to raise their hand, and how fast can we answer when they do?”

What we did

Three roles, one engagement

01 · As a

Consultant

Channel strategy (Facebook ads + organic Facebook/TikTok), daily working sessions, and an ROI framework the owner can run himself.

  • A channel plan built around Facebook ads until traction caught on, plus organic content on Facebook and TikTok.
  • An ROI framework Yusef could run himself, so he could see what each effort returned and keep an honest view of his numbers.
  • Daily working sessions from January 2026, testing and adjusting every day.

02 · As a

Systems thinker

Mapped the lead path from ad to like/comment to reply to quote to booking, and found that the bottleneck was attention and speed to lead — not software.

  • Mapped the lead path end to end: ad, like or comment, first reply, DM conversation, quote, booking.
  • Cut the delay between “interested” and “answered.” That gap was where sales were leaking.

03 · As a

Builder

Built the prototype quote system, the AI-assisted follow-up, and later the relaunched live system.

  • AI-assisted follow-up: when someone liked or commented with interest, they got a fast, relevant reply in their inbox.
  • A complete online quote system, which we then chose to hold back (more on that below).

The call that mattered

We shelved what we built

We built a working quote system and put it live — then chose to shelve it. A solo founder needed traction more than software, and the system was moving faster than the business could absorb.

In January we built a full quote system and put it live at abassolutions.net/larri. Customers completed real quotes through it.

It was not finished, since booking alerts were not wired up yet. More importantly, a solo founder needed traction first, and a system to maintain would have pulled him away from it. So we went smaller: faster tactics he could run every day.

That is the job: deciding what to build and when, including when the answer is “not yet.”

The result · February 2026

$11K in sales and about $8K net in month one

By mid-February, Yusef reported $11K in sales and about $8K net profit in the first month of the new strategy. Total ad spend was about $400 in Facebook ads across January–February 2026.

What drove it

  1. 01Facebook ads

Facebook ads, 2–3 per week, until traction caught on — about $400 in total across January–February, and the most useful lever early

  2. 02Speed to lead

AI-assisted follow-up: people who liked or commented on posts with interest got a fast reply in their inbox, so speed to lead went up

  3. 03Consistency

Organic content on Facebook and TikTok

  4. 04Measurement

An ROI framework so Yusef could measure his own impact — and keep an honest view of it

We report sales and net separately on purpose. If you cannot calculate your impact honestly, you cannot improve it. For the same reason we do not quote a return-on-ad-spend figure: the ad spend covered about six weeks and the sales figure covers one month, so the two are not directly comparable.

Six months later

Larri Fast Garage

About six months after we started, the business opened a physical shop and grew into Larri Fast Garage: wheel powder coating, then complete builds, restorations, restomods, lowriders and custom vehicles.

Now the system makes sense

With the shop running and demand proven, we relaunched the quote system, properly wired this time.

  • A quote form and quote chat that price a job in about two minutes
  • Owner alert emails with one-tap call, text, email and map, and a link straight to the order
  • A phone-first admin that moves every job from request to pickup, coating and delivery, emailing the customer at each step
  • Order tracking for customers
  • A dealer portal for tire shops and dealerships
You opened my eyes to the capabilities of implementing AI into my business, and it opened up everything. Since we sat down 8 months ago mapping out business and AI solutions, I've opened a shop. In the first month since I started service, I made $11K in sales.
